AT&T Corp has won four contracts, valued at $110m, from PT Telkom, the Indonesian state-owned telecommunications company to supply telecommunications equipment and services for the second phase expansion and modernisation of Indonesia’s phone network: AT&T will develop a multi-exchange area on Batam Island, supplying digital switching and transmission equipment and fibre optic cables for the country.
