AT&T’s Unix Software Operation has updated its C++ object oriented language. Release 2.1, available by the end of the month, is described as more robust, fixing minor bugs detected by Software Operation developers and reported by customers since the launch of 2.0 last June. Including the C++ standard library set, it is available in source code form for $25,000. Licensees of 2.0 can upgrade all processors for a one-time fee of $5,000.
