As a prelude to bringing Italtel SpA into the business, AT&T Co has increased its stake in its AT&T Network Systems International BV joint venture with Philips NV to 85% from 60% on undisclosed terms. The business turned its first profit last year on turnover of $562m, and looks to grow by 30% this year.
