AT&T Co has moved to expand its interests in computer leasing by buying a 40% stake in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan leaser Encore International Inc. The investment, which was on undisclosed terms, was made via AT&T Credit Corp, which sees it as a means of broadening the scope of computer financing it is able to offer to its customers.
