AT&T Co’s newly named AT&T Global Information Solutions unit said it would hire several hundred employees for its professional services division: the additions would be a combination of new hires and internal shifts; but also said that despite the hiring, Global’s overall staff levels would decrease by about 12% to 15% over the next year.
