By CBR Staff Writer

AT&T Co’s Eo Inc has been so unsuccessful with its pen-based personal communicators, having sold just 8,000 of the $2,500 Eo440 that it is going back to the drawing board, the Wall Street Journal reported: the company now plans to focus on developing and producing a small, flip-open cellular phone equipped with a miniature computer screen, to cost $1,000 to $1,500.
