AT&T Co is recalling 160 laid off production workers in its Merrimack Valley Works facility because of increased orders for transmission systems and components produced at the plant: the 160 will be recalled from among 644 AT&T employees laid off in August following an upgrade to AT&T’s long distance network; another 100 have already been recalled over the past four months.
