AT&T Corp has taken Tata Sons & Co Pvt Ltd’s telephone manufacturer Tata Keltron Ltd as its partner in India, signing the company to market its consumer telecommunications products – cordless phones, facsimile machines, multifunction phones and answering machines; the AT&T products will also be made in India where economies of scale justify.
