AT&T Corp said it would guarantee Connecticut customers a price of $0.05 a minute for a year on all direct-dial in-state long distance calls if they chose AT&T long distance service. It put a limit of 1,500 minutes per month on the deal and suggested that further offers would be made in coming months designed to lure customers to AT&T for services that are usually provided by local phone companies.
