A number of telecommunications and technology companies, including AT&T Corp, France Telecom, Mitsubishi Corp, Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp and Korea Telecom Ltd, have joined forces to offer Personal Comunications Services in Japan. AccessLine Technologies Inc said that the new One Number Service Inc is the successor company to One Number Service Planning Inc, a joint venture formed last autumn by Nippon Telegraph & Telephone, NTT Mobile Communications and AccessLine Technologies. The new partnership also includes at least a dozen Japanese firms. One Number Service is to be available to customers in Tokyo from mid-May.
