AT&T Microelectronics Inc and Intel Corp duly made their joint announcement in Burlingame, California late last week, and, as we hazarded in CI No 1,103, it was indeed on second-sourcing of each other’s ISDN circuits. Local area network chips are also included under the five-year agreement under which the two companies will each sell the others local net and ISDN chips and work together to define, develop and manufacture future generations of local network and ISDN devices.
