AT&T HAS THE METAL INSPECTOR M200

By CBR Staff Writer

AT&T Co reckons its Metal Inspector M200 will mean you never have to spend as long again testing metal welds on the production line: the tester, the latest update of the M100, analyses and records the quality of welds by taking an electrical resistivity measurement; Metal Inspector M200 simultaneously records and stores digital quality information (up to 20,000 readings) for future reference using the basic technologies of its predecessor, running on an AT&T PC 6300 or compatible; for $15,495 you get 160Kb of RAM and 32 bytes of EPROM.
