AT&T Corp reports a $13.5m contract with the Polish Post for construction of eight inter-city automatic telephone exchanges: more than 80,000 subscribers, mostly in the southwestern region, will be connected to the telephone network by mid-1995 and Polish Post is financing the project with European Investment Bank and World Bank credits; the exchanges will be produced at the AT&T-owned Telfa factory in Bydgoszcz, in northwestern Poland.
