AT&T Corp has now concluded its agreement with Mexico’s Grupo Alfa SA, creating a $1,000m global telecommunications joint venture company to serve Mexican business and domestic phone subscribers: the memorandum of understanding gives Alfa a 51% stake and AT&T the rest.
