AT&T CHOOSES OCTEL’S SIERRA FOR VOICEMAIL

AT&T Corp’s AT&T Wireless Services has chosen Octel Communications Corp to provide voice processing equipment for its voicemail services in its new 1.9GHz Personal Communications Services-licensed territories in the US. AT&T is buying three Octel Sierra voice processing systems to enable the company to offer its customers features such as cell phone answering, digital message waiting notification and enhanced paging services.
