AT&T Co, Cabletron Systems Inc and the Bulgarian private company Infoguard have won the tender for the second stage of the installation of a twisted pair and fibre optic network for the two Bulgarian parliament buildings. Infoguard president Dr Stefan Nedkov said the combined value of the first and second stages of the contract totalled $492,000. Funds for the project are being made available by the US Library of Congress. Infoguard, which was formed in 1990 with $4,000 of working capital and now distributes for Microsoft Corp, Compaq Computer Corp, Santa Cruz Operation Inc and Novell Inc is growing fast and turned over the equivalent of $2m in the first six months of 1993, which represented a $500,000 increase on its total revenues for the whole of 1992.
