Interwise’s Interwise Connect software is an IP-based conferencing tool for Web, audio, and video communication. The company targets the following specific industries with this: technology, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, insurance, automotive, and retail.
It offers onsite site conferencing capabilities as well as hosted services, but it also can take a hybrid approach, providing onsite services at a client’s main facilities and hosted tools at more remote locations. Interwise also provides managed services for clients that want to outsource the running of their conferencing applications.
The company, with 180 employees and six offices worldwide, will become part of AT&T Global Business Services. The deal should close in the fourth quarter.
