AT&T Co has poached R C M Baker from arch-rival British Telecommunications Plc and made him vice-president of international strategy and planning: Baker had been British Telecom’s senior executive for global customers; in what is a new post, he will be responsible for supporting AT&T’s globalisation efforts and enhancing the breadth of its international communications.
