Following its comarketing agreement with Timeplex Inc, AT&T Co has announced an agreement between its Network Systems International division and Unisys Corp’s networking division to the effect that Unisys will promote AT&T’s cabling system, using unshielded twisted pair and fibre-optic based Systimax products as the preferred system for certain networking products; AT&T says that it is also looking at other ways to promote network product cooperation between the two companies – and may well end up buying Timeplex if it can turn attention away from NCR Corp for a moment, because Unisys is still trying to sell the firm.
