AT&T AND UNITEL NEARING AGREEMENT

AT&T Co and Unitel Communications Inc say they hope to reach a final agreement on the 20% equity investment in Unitel by AT&T by January 29: Unitel is currently owned 60% by Canadian Pacific Ltd and 40% by Rogers Communications Inc; those figures would drop to 48% and 32%.
