AT&T Corp announced yesterday that it plans to pool most of its European activities with those of Unisource NV in a new joint venture company to be called AT&T-Unisource Services. The combined operations will create a pan- European business for telecommunications and multimedia services with some 5,000 employees and revenue exceeding $1,000m a year. Unisource will own 60% of the new company and AT&T 40%. The two companies also plan to invest together in other partnerships to expand their services.
