AT&T has signed a strategic agreement worth over $57m with Omnicom (OMC), a company involved in advertising and marketing communications, to deploy its applications and cloud-based offerings on a global scale for OMC.
Under the agreement, AT&T will work with Omnicom to develop networking offerings that will connect Omnicom’s offices around the world and provide opportunities for swift adoption of new technologies over time.
Omnicom intends for the offering to help drive near-term savings with short-term projects, as well as support long-term transformational change within Omnicom’s global business.
As per the agreement, Omnicom will explore the use of AT&T’s Managed Hosting and Application Services to help accelerate the delivery of packaged applications across Omnicom’s global network of operations.
Omnicom Group president and CEO John Wren said this latest agreement with AT&T underscores their ongoing investment in maintaining a world-class communications structure that can keep their agencies connected, collaborating, and delivering industry best performance on behalf of their clients.
Omnicom is considering additional AT&T networking offerings, which include AT&T Telepresence SolutionSM, Cloud Services and Unified Communications, to support its ongoing mission to expand global collaboration while reducing its carbon footprint.
