Paris, France-based Atos Origin is looking to dispose of non-core assets this year as it prepares to merge with the IT services operation of SchlumbergerSema, in a $1.47bn deal that it expected to close in the next few weeks. The company sold its Hungarian division to Synergon Informatika in August 2003.
Statilogie provides research, data collection and analysis surveys for clients in the retail and healthcare sector, including French hypermarket chains Groupe Auchan and Carrefour. It has 15 employees and is on course to make sales of 2.3m euros ($2.8m) this year. Atos Origin originally acquired Statilogie in 1998.
