French IT service companies Groupe Atos and Steria SA have formed a new company, Diamis, specifically to market IT services in the banking sector. The two companies said Diamis will market everything from consulting through to strategic outsourcing, passing through systems integration, development and resale of software and components, technical assistance and maintenance. Diamis is owned 60% by Atos and 40% by Steria, and starts life with some 50 staff, headed by by Aymeri Boitreaud from Atos, as chairman, and Rachid Boukais, from Steria, as CEO.
