The prospects of Bolt Beranek & Newman Inc introducing a new Asynchronous Transfer Mode switch has pushed the shares of the Cambridge, Massachusetts company to a 52-week high, Dan Dorfman reported on CNBC-TV: he said that investors were excited about Bolt Beranek’s new switch, noting that the company has an agreement to market and develop the product in collaboration with an arm of Tandem Computers Inc; other potential winners for the technology research and development company are data analysis software and a router, he noted.
