Atari Corp, Sunnyvale, California, has finally started shipping its Mega STs, now called the 2Mb Mega-2 and 4Mb Mega-4, in the US, at from $1,700 and $2,600: available here in Europe for some time, the new mcahines offer emulators that allow them to run Macintosh, PC-DOS, and CP/M software; Atari is expected to announce a ship date for a 20Mb hard drive for the Mega 2 and 4, and a laser printer, to be pricedat around $2,000, in a few weeks.
