ATARI HAS SECURED TWO LARGE PROCUREMENT CONTRACTS FOR MEMORIES

Atari Corp, which plans to be making its own memory chips within two years or so, says that in the meantime it has secured two very large procurement contracts for memories which mean that it will be able to improve supplies of its ST personal computers and to begin shipping its 80286-based PC4 and 80386-based PC5 in volume in the UK this month.
