The Atari Computer arm of Atari Corp in Sunnyvale has rushed out the Portfolio pocket computer to take on Poquet Computer’s new box, hoping that the machine, which runs adapted MS-DOS applications and accepts MS-DOS commands, will appeal to people who like the idea of the Poquet but can’t afford the $2,000 tag – the Portfolio is $400.
