ASYNCHRONOUS MODE UNCERTAINTY MEANS ONLY 4,000 SWITCHES IN EUROPE BY 2000 – OVUM

According to London-based information technology research house Ovum Ltd, the uncertainty that, in many organisations’ minds, surrounds Asynchronous Transfer Mode technology means that the installed base of Asynchronous Mode edge switches across in Europe by the year 2000 will have reached only just over 4,000.
