Multimedia online training specialist Asymetrix Learning Systems Inc of Seattle, Washington has bought Adams Consulting Group, a training and consulting organization for an undisclosed sum. Adams, based in Chicago, develops applications to improve human performance by implementing simulations, virtual reality, and interactive multimedia programs for learning and marketing. Adams’ training applications provide a three-dimensional, computer-based, interactive environment in which user exploration is encouraged. In February, Asymetrix announced a product development and marketing agreement with DataBeam Corp to improve online learning offerings. The two integrating Asymetrix Librarian and the DataBeam Learning Server to provide management and delivery of both self-paced and live collaborative learning over the internet.
