Asus has launched a new lineup of three graphics cards EAH5000 Series, which it claims to cater to overclocking, fast-paced gaming and daily computing.

Equipped with its voltage tweak technology, the EAH5970/G/2DIS/2GD5 and EAH5770/2DI/1GD5 graphics cards allows users to enhance GPU voltages through the SmartDoctor application up to 31% improvement in performance. These raise GPU voltages from 1.05V to 1.35V and GPU performance from 725MHz to 950MHz, and memory clock from 4000MHz to 5012MHz, the company claims.

In addition, HDR Texture Compression, DirectCompute and Tessellation are designed to take advantage of all graphical features within the new Windows 7 operating system.

According to Asus, its EAH5770/2DI/1GD5 and EAH5750 FORMULA/2DI/1GD5 feature cooling technologies capable of up to 13% better heat dissipation. These feature Xtreme Design that includes GamerOSD and SmartDoctor applications for real-time overclocking. The EAH5770/2DI/1GD5 features a fansink that includes tuning-fork shaped heatsink to increase the heat dissipation surface area by 22%, the company said.

The EAH5970/G/2DIS/2GD5 graphics card include a graphics engine of ATI Radeon HD 5970 graphics, and 2GB GDDR5 video memory, while EAH5770/2DI/1GD5 and EAH5750 FORMULA/2DI/1GD5 have 1GB GDDR5 video memory, the company added.
