Asus is set to manufacture the new version of Google’s Nexus 10 tablet, reports have revealed.
Samsung manufactured the original version of the Nexus 10, as well as the Nexus S and the Galaxy Nexus, but Asus is set to make the latest version.
Asus manufactured the original Nexus 7 and after Google opened up biffing to different manufacturing companies, they will also produce the new Nexus 10.
The new tablet will be released in time for the Christmas market and be aimed at families.
The original Nexus 10 offered a high resolution 10-inch screen packed with over 4m pixels and was offered in either 16GB or 32GB capacities.
There has so far been no confirmation of any new features for the next version of the Google Nexus 10. Its predecessor came with a 2560×1600 display, 1.9 megapixel camera and at least 16GB of memory.
