AST Research Inc, Irvine, California-based, which already supplies Texas Instruments Inc with personal computers under an OEM contract, has signed the company’s Austin, Texas-based Information Technology Group to provide service to users of AST’s computers in the US and in England, Italy and Canada. Texas will provide on-site warranty and post-warranty repair services to resellers, distributors and users.
