AST Research Inc has launched the Manhattan V and P line of servers. They cost from $4,000 and $5,000 respectively and include the new Percepta software that helps manage computer networks. IBM Corp’s six new servers, the IBM Entry Server Offerings, are additions to the line of mainframe-like machines announced in April. They use CMOS microprocessors and up to six processors.
