AST COMPUTER GOES TO ATI FOR 3D GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR

AST Computer Corp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co, has announced that it will use ATI Technologies Inc’s 3D Rage Pro Accelerated Graphics Port graphics accelerator board in its new Bravo MS AGP commercial systems. The board which will be used in the Bravo MS 6266, AST’s new 266Mhz MMX Pentium II-based system, features a floating-point set-up engine, 4K texture cache, bilinear and trilinear filtering and Z-buffering.
