Associated Bank Expands ATM Network In Illinois

Customers gain access to more than 2,000 new surcharge-free ATM locations

By CBR Staff Writer

Associated Bank, a part of Associated Banc-Corp, has entered into separate agreements with STARsf and MoneyPass networks, to provide expanded access to surcharge-free ATMs to its customers in the Illinois area. As a result, customers can use any of more than 2,000 ATM locations in Illinois and nearly 50,000 ATM locations worldwide, without paying ATM surcharges.

This expanded access to surcharge-free ATM locations is available to Associated Bank customers with current relationship checking accounts opened in Illinois.

David Stein, executive vice president and director of retail banking for Associated Bank, said: “We are pleased to offer cardholders the greater convenience of more locations and the additional benefit of surcharge-free ATMs when using either of these two networks.

“More and more, customers define convenience as having easy 24/7 access to their funds and online account information. We believe our current and prospective Illinois customers will benefit greatly from the expansion of our ATM network in Illinois.”
