San Jose, California-based Aspect Telecommunications Corp is pleased with its vastly-improved Q2 numbers. The call center business systems provider said the strong results reflect its acquisitions of Envoy Holdings Ltd, last September and Prospect Software Inc in October. Revenue for the second quarter was up 28.3% at $93.5m while profits rose 38.6% to $12.6m. Founded in 1985, Aspect products include automatic call distributors, interactive response systems, and the CallCenter call management information and reporting tools. All financial results from 1996 have been restated to reflect the purchases.
