Willow Grove, Pennsylvania-based Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc says it has been informed that Advanced Semiconductor Materials International NV rejected its offer to acquire ASM Fico Tooling BV; it said on June 29 that it began talks to acquire the ASM Fico unit of Advanced Semiconductor, for about $53m.
