Ask Computer Systems Inc must have thought that the emphatic vote of shareholders in favour of the existing board had seen off dissident 7.45% shareholder James Lennane but the Mountain View, California company, now enlarged with the addition of Ingres Corp, must keep looking over its shoulder. Lennane now says that he may make a tender offer for Ask shares, seek a seat on the board, and that he may buy more shares in the market or in private transactions.He could also sell some shares.
