Asea Brown Boveri Group has signed Matsushita Electric Industrial Co to a five-year contract to market Asea robots in Japan: Matsushita will use the robots in its own operations as well as marketing them and the partners look for $15m of business in the first year implying about 200 robots – and for double that number in the second year.
