The former chief financial officer of Ascom Holding AG, Zurich says he doubts that a planned restructuring into three sub-holdings would help the company return to financial health: Klaus Ruetschi, who quit on Thursday, told the Swiss bi-weekly Finanz und Wirtschaft that the turnaround must be achieved quickly and effectively and that this requires a slim leadership structure, and he doubted the plan to form three separate companies, for telecommunications, enterprise networks and automation services under a holding company would do the trick.
