ASCOM HOLDING TO PAY $112M FOR ROCKAWAY

Telecommunications equipment maker Ascom Holding AG of Switzerland will pay $16 a share, $112m, subject to to shareholder approval, for Rockaway Corp, which did $5.8m in net profit on a turnover of $60.1m in 1987, turning out business machines and mailing systems.
