Ascend Communications Inc has added the Pipeline 15, a terminal adapter for high-speed dial access to a corporate headquarters, an intranet or the internet, to its Pipeline range of access routers. In addition, to digital connections, the Pipeline 15 has two POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) ports, which provide analog phone and fax services over the same ISDN BRI (Basic Rate Interface) line that connects to the internet. The Pipeline 15 may be ordered immediately, and is available in two configurations, BRI S/T or BRI U Interface, for a US. list price of $450.
