The Asahi Kasei Microsystems Co subsidiary of Asahi Chemical Industry Co has signed to become the sole Japanese distributor of the disk-related chips made by International Microelectronic Products Inc, San Jose, California: the two will also collaborate on development of programmable disk drive filter circuits.
