…AS WANG LOOKS TO HAND ON SUPPLIES ARM TO NASHUA

By CBR Staff Writer

Lowell, Massachusetts-based Wang Laboratories Inc is still shedding assets and the latest sale sees much of its Wang Express consumer and office supplies business going to its New England neighbour Nashua Corp, subject to the approval of the US Bankruptcy Court. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The Wang Express assets bought by the Nashua, New Hampshire company include a business-to-business catalogue that services Wang customers’ requirements for paper, toner and magnetic media and such, and will remain at the Wang facility in Lowell, continuing to do business as Wang Express for the immediate future. Wang says its Telesales unit will continue to offer its customers a full line of computer software, services, hardware, and add-ons.
