Sun Microsystems Computer Corp has come out with SunSolve, software that it says gives Sparcstation users on-line access to service information such as technical bulletins and problem-resolution databases. Available on CD-ROM, SunSolve contains a database of system problem symptoms and resolutions for them, as well as bug-patch descriptions. Sun/HelpDesk, meanwhile, is a service product that assists Sun resellers that deliver support through the SunPartners service programmes in setting up their own help desks, so that they can better support their end-users.
