Meantime IBM Corp’s AdStar storage products unit has retained Needham, Massachusetts-based Cognex Corp to supply machine vision systems for integration with its automatic tape storage and retrieval systems under a four-year, multi-million dollar agreement. The system will be used to ensure accurate identification of tapes for retrieval and storage.
