IBM Corp also said yesterday that it will close and sell its Franklin Lakes, New Jersey facility, putting about 800 employees out into the Garden State, although it expects that those that do not accept early retirement or voluntary redundancy offers will be found work at other facilities in the tri-state area. The facility currently houses finance, administrative and marketing support operations, which will be moved to other facilities in the region by July.
