IBM Corp last week added the full line of Informix Software Inc database and proprietary language products are now offered on the server models of RS/6000 under its Co-operative Software Programme. The Informix database was already up on some other RS/6000 models. Pricing on the products is graded according to processor size and the number of users, so that the full development version of Informix-OnLine costs $3,300 for one user on a Powerserver 320H, $32,000 for 65 or more users; and $19,500 for one to 16 users on a Powerserver 950, rising to $152,000 for 257 or more users. All the products are shipping now.
