AS AT&T GLOBAL ADDS COMMUNICATIONS-READY MICROS

AT&T Corp’s Global Information Solutions unit unveiled a line of Globalyst communications-ready personal computers yesterday. Globalyst 510 is an 80486-based AT and integrated VESA-based micro footprint desktop for about $1,040 preloaded with MS-DOS and Windows. The Globalyst 515 has the same processor and is $2,000 with Microsoft Works and multimedia support and CD-ROM drive. The Globalyst 550 has Peripheral Component Interconnect bus and is from $2,015, and the 590 is a Pentium machine at $3,075. The boxes have four PCMCIA slots.
